The hotel Thermenhof Paierl, in the Austrian region of Styria, has created a space for Ayurveda that incorporates the ancient Ayurvedic healing methods, into the regional landscape of hot springs and spa culture.
An Indian Ayurveda team of doctors and therapists practices a wide range of treatments, including massages, oil pouring, herbal stamps, peelings, eye baths, and energy work, and these can also be combined and booked as a package.
There is a choice between classic panchakarma (14 nights), langana for weight loss (21 nights), swastha for detoxification (7 nights), but also several shorter packages geared towards Ayurveda first-timers.
The treatments are rounded off with individualized Ayurvedic meals, prepared by the hotel restaurant’s qualified kitchen staff, and an activity and relaxation program with Yoga, Qi gong, or Tai chi.
One of the highlights here is the large spa and sauna area with several warm swimming pools, saunas, and steam baths, supplied with the hotel’s very own thermal water, thereby enhancing the potential healing effects, especially in the case of rheumatism, respiratory diseases, metabolic disorders, but also fatigue and stress.
Different room categories are available, some decorated in an Asian theme, with a view of the surrounding countryside and its rolling hills; plus, you'll have a balcony or a terrace leading into the Japanese Garden.
